Italy has a long and proud tradition of creating some of the worlds most admired culinary masterpieces. Conversely, America has a long tradition of modifying these recipes for the sake of convenience (think ravioli a la’ Chef Boyardee.) With that in mind, we offer you Insalada Caprese Fatty Style.
- A variety of tomatoes: (This is up to your discretion, but we suggest you choose at least 3 for your array. This includes but is not limited to; yellow, heirloom, tomatillo, orange, red, roma,
cherry or grape)
- 1-2 Large orbs of fresh mozzarella cheese
- 5 Tbsp Balsamic vinegar dressing
- 10-12 Fresh basil leaves
- 2-3 Sprigs of parsley
Combine the ingredients, add balsamic vinegar and toss.
